A Delhi-based primary school teacher is winning hearts on the internet for a classroom activity video that she shared on social media.
The video, shared by Sapna – a primary school teacher – on Instagram, demonstrated the arm span-to-height ratio. It has clocked over 16 million views so far.
The clip opens with Sapna engaging her students in the activity. She asks one student to step forward as she positions her bent arm toward the ground and raises the other hand to the blackboard.
She then instructs the student to mark where her outstretched hand meets the board. Sapna goes on to stand straight to show that her height matches the marked point, illustrating that her arm span is nearly equal to her height – a concept known as the one-to-one arm span-to-height ratio.

The video not only left students in awe but also prompted social media users to appreciate the simplicity of her demonstration in the comments section of the post.
“Enlightening,” a user said, while another added, “This was already mentioned by Acharya Charak.”
Acharya Charak was an ancient Ayurvedic scholar whose works included similar observations on the human body.
